COVID-19 Update

Hi folks,
We have thrived with kites for 28 years thanks to all you enthusiastic and loyal customers and we are committed to being here for you during this challenging time. Getting outside to fly a kite when it is safe to do so can be a welcome escape and we’re here to support that however we can. Our top priority is the health and safety of our staff, customers and suppliers and as of Friday, 6/19 our crew continues to work remotely, answering phones, processing orders and assisting anyone who might need help with their kite.
Shipping
We are continuing to ship orders placed through the Prism website, but to maintain safe distancing we are operating the warehouse with a limited crew. Free shipping still applies for orders over $50.00. Orders are currently shipping on Mondays, Thursdays and sometimes one additional weekday so you may see a day or two of processing delay depending on when your order is placed. Both domestic and international orders may take longer in transit than usual due to Covid-related slowdowns with all carriers. If you need something urgently, please contact us by email to info@prismkites.com and we’ll do our best to help you out.
Customer service
With spring weather upon us, we are receiving a huge volume of questions and inquiries as people dig out old kites, shop for new ones and get ready for kite season. Please be patient with us as we prioritize our responses. We encourage you to explore our website, YouTube channel, social media and the information included with your kite where you can find answers to the majority of questions we receive each day.
Showroom and Will Call/Curbside pickup
In compliance with Washington’s State’s stay-at-home directive, our retail showroom is closed to walk-in customers. We’ve always loved meeting you in person to chat about kites and we look forward to the day when we can do it safely again. If your shipping address is in the Seattle area then it is possible to select “Will Call’ on your checkout page and come by for curbside pickup. Please email us at info@prismkites.com to coordinate a pickup time.
Repairs
Because we are working remotely we are unable to accept or perform kite repairs at this time. However, there’s not much on a kite that can’t be made airworthy again with a bit of creative DIY. Spare parts, repair kits and repair tape are available on this website and you can check out our handy guide to kite field repairs HERE.
Replacement parts
We hear from customers every week who are still flying decades-old Prism kites. We’re proud to build our products to last and we support them with spare parts for as long as possible. If you don’t see a part listed for your kite on our Replacement Parts ordering page then it is unfortunately no longer available. If it shows as out of stock then we are temporarily out of stock but intend to have it again when stock arrives.
