Moderate Winds

The Nexus 2.0 features a composite carbon/glass frame for instant response and great light-wind performance. The three-point turbo bridle offers easy adjustment for a wide range of wind. Solid carbon leading edge spars are incredibly tough but light, so you can survive those unplanned landings but still fly easily in a great wind range.

Speedier and sportier than a full-size kite, the Nexus will still get you started on a range of stunts and introduce you to the world of trick flying. Comes complete with low-stretch Dyneema lines, winder, flight straps and a handy travel sleeve that’s small enough to bring along every time you head out for a getaway. Included tail attachment point makes it easy to connect lightweight tails like our 40' ribbon or 20' tube tails.

    Design Details

    • 5.3-foot wingspan makes the Nexus more travel-friendly than our full-sized sport kites, with a bit more speed and sharper control response.
    • Combination carbon and fiberglass frame is durable and affordable to maintain. Bounces back from most crashes, while repair parts are inexpensive and easy to replace if you need them.
    • Lightweight construction makes the Nexus easier to fly in gentler winds than our full-sized starter kites - ideal for inland beginners working with lighter average wind speeds.
    • Adjustable bridle lets you fine tune your kite for different wind conditions and flying styles with a simple adjustment at the tow points.
    • Moderate lifting ability allows you to trace your flight path with a long 40' ribbon tail or one of our 20' tube tails for added flair.
    • Low-stretch Dyneema flying lines are lightweight, low drag, and provide crisp, responsive fingertip control.
    • Protective storage bag holds your kite at half length for easy transport and includes a dedicated outer pocket for storing your flying lines.
