I occasionally fly three of these on one line. While it takes some patience to line them up, and a hefty wind in the middle of Denver to get the train going, the visuals are stunning. All passersby stop and watch their graceful, tandem horizontal migration or the chaotic, individual kite fighting to get off its leash! With tube tails or ribbons, the fun far exceeds any screen time. It’s a fine way to pass a few hours on a Saturday.

Vertex is a stable flyer that performs well even in high winds. Super quick setup from bag to air to air in under 60 seconds! Once it warms up, I am going to try two of them in tandem this spring.

This kite is so easy to fly we were able to go out in our skiff and troll around the harbor on a clear breezy evening and have the kite fly well. Even when we were driving down the wind the kite stayed up easily. It did take us, rank amateurs, a few try’s from the roof of our boat at anchor in the wind to get the hang of it, but we learned quickly and have since enjoyed flying this fancy feller whenever the conditions allow.
