Ready to try some serious pull with a wing you’ll never outgrow? The Tensor lets you choose dual or quad line control with no additional gear needed. The unique convertible control bar works in two-line mode as you learn, then converts to quad handles for the more precise power control and steering you’ll want for traction sports like buggying, snow kiting and landboarding.

The Tensor delivers serious power with easy inflation and forgiving handling. Comes in a sweet backpack all set up and ready to fly, with convertible control bar, safety leash and quick release, stainless ground stake and all lines pre-attached. Our detailed flight manual includes everything you’ll need to know to get the most out of this incredibly versatile wing.

If things get crazy, the central line with quick-release wrist leash provides a simple and effective safety system- just let go of the bar to instantly dump power. The kite will settle to the ground while still tethered to your wrist so you don’t risk losing it downwind.

Choose the 4.2 for great all-around performance in the widest wind range. It’s a bit quicker and more maneuverable than the 5.0 while remaining manageable in stronger winds.

Choose the 5.0 if you’re a bigger pilot, or if you fly regularly in lighter winds. It has the extra grunt you’ll want for buggies, snowboards and skis. But hang on stronger winds- it can be a beast if you don’t stay ahead of it!

Best Value Workout Equipment I've Ever Owned

The Tensor 5.0 is--quite simply--the single best value I've ever found in a piece of workout equipment or gym membership. In 2020, I lost sixty pounds flying this thing. Portion control helped, but my main source of exercise during this time was the power kite. Everyone else was baking bread and gaining weight during lockdown, but I was slimming down while flying a kite!

The best analog I can offer: the kite is a resistance workout that never needs to be calibrated. It always operates at the maximum effort that YOU can handle. If the effort is too much, you just can just take a small step forward to depower it slightly. You also never need to count sets and reps; each swoop is an individual dopamine burst. If gyms bore you, look no further.

Over time, you'll learn to fly the kite with nuance. You can change your stroke pattern and position in the wind window to target different muscles and muscle groups: back, shoulders, arms, core, legs. I can even channel the effort into my iliopsoas complex where my body stores most of its physical stress.

In dual-handled mode, the kite is capable of extremely precise movements. When I fly the kite, my dog Murray runs around underneath it, activating his herding instinct and burning out all his corgi energy. I've gotten so good at controlling the kite that I can make it react to Murray's movements, barking, etc. It's the closest I'll ever get to having a two-(2)-sided conversation with him.

Prism should really consider approaching us with a more robust sponsorship opportunity. This kite changed my life...and I tell a *LOT* of people about it.

You better pack a smile and protein

Holy fun. I’ve had it for five years and it’s been a blast every time I get it out of the bag. I typically fly it at the beach which is incredible. It’s like a jet ski, you don’t see a person upset or not smiling on one. Everyone that I’ve taught how to fly this has tried to ask me where I got it and are enthusiastic about how fun it is. Great quality.

I’m 6’4” and 245lbs, this thing drags me around the beach with ease. A great workout in a swift breeze. I love this kite

This is the one. hands down.

I've been power kiting since the early 2000's and I've probably gone through about 15 different large power kites. Every time I get the Tensor I feel a much better responsive control through the handles. Not only are the handles designed to keep your fingers from getting blisters where the primary lines go but the kites themselves outlast all other brands. Other kites feel sluggish in steering response when you have a tensor in your collection. I have gone through at least four Tensor 5M kites and I fly them until they no longer fly. By far the best large durable power kite you can buy. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

If you enjoy getting dragged around this is for you

I love this thing. A bit of a learning curve from a normal 2 line, but once you pick it up its incredible fun

The thrust you can trust.

I like big kites. I cannot lie. Other brothers can't deny.
